1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using homegrade.ai ("the App"), a product of Lawson Digital Group LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Company", "we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

homegrade.ai uses artificial intelligence to analyze home inspection reports uploaded by users. The App may extract text from PDF documents and generate summaries, severity ratings, cost estimates, categorized findings, risk scores, and action-plan style guidance based on the uploaded report and related user inputs.

3. AI Disclaimer

• AI technology can and does make mistakes. The analysis may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors.
• The App does not provide professional home inspection, engineering, construction, legal, insurance, lending, or real estate advice.
• AI-generated cost estimates are approximate and may not reflect actual repair costs in your area.
• Severity ratings and risk scores are algorithmically determined and may not match a professional inspector's assessment.
• You should not rely solely on this analysis for any home purchase, negotiation, repair, safety, or financial decisions.

4. No Guarantees or Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated analysis
• That the App will meet your specific requirements
• That the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• That defects in the App will be corrected

5. Professional Advice

The information provided by the App is not a substitute for professional advice. We strongly recommend consulting with qualified home inspectors, contractors, structural engineers, electricians, plumbers, or other relevant professionals before making decisions based on home inspection findings. Always seek professional guidance for safety-critical issues.

6. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the documents and information you upload or provide.
• You must not upload documents containing sensitive personal information of third parties without their consent.
• You must not use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the App, including any AI features and rate limits.

7. Payment Terms

Certain features require a one-time payment (for example, to unlock full report details and/or an action plan for a given report). Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices and available features may change at any time. All sales are final. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the documents you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your documents for the purpose of providing and improving the service (including running extraction, analysis, and generating outputs you request). We do not claim ownership of your uploaded documents.

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the App, including the software, user interface, branding, and all analysis outputs and derived data generated by the service (excluding your original uploaded documents), as well as aggregated or anonymized insights and benchmarks created from use of the service.

9. Data Handling and Third-Party Processing

Uploaded documents may be processed using third-party services (including OpenAI and Mistral AI) to provide the App’s features. By using the App, you acknowledge that document content you upload will be transmitted to these services for processing. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lawson Digital Group LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, business interruption, or decision outcomes, arising from your use of the App or any AI-generated output.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lawson Digital Group LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the App, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any law or third-party rights, or (d) content you upload or provide through the App.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms within the App and/or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Texas.
